The Porsche 991.2 is the first of the new generation of turbocharged 3.0l Turbo Porsche engines. The only difference between the base model Carrera the Carrera S and the GTS from a powertrain point of view is the turbochargers that Porsche have used coupled with matching ECU software.

The benefit of this is that all of the engine hardware components and ancillaries remain the same from the K03 base model cars up to the GTS, the only difference making the extra power and torque are the turbos.

This means its possible to upgrade from the smaller K03 turbo found on the base and Carrera S model to the bigger K04 and coupled with our Porsche 991.2 tuning the power gains are phenomenal.

Example:-

If you own a 991.2 Carrera base model with 380bhp you can upgrade only the turbos and apply our Porsche 991.2 GTS tuning and the car will produce 560-570bhp a massive 200bhp.

Our Porsche 991 tuning has been developed with total reliability in mind utilising two development vehicles we own along with our fully enclosed 2000whp hub dyno to ensure the very best performance, total reliability and the ultimate driving experience.

This ECU upgrade makes carefully adjusts boost pressure, ingition timing, air fuel ratio and boost control settings to offer amazing performance without reducing engine life. We aim to protect the engine along with all other hardware components.

The K04 Porsche GTS turbo upgrade offers a huge jump from the base Carrera model not just in greater power results but its a superior turbocharger in every way.

K04 GTS 991.2 Turbo Upgrade Key Features:-

The K04 turbo upgrade coupled with our Porsche 991 GTS stage 3 tuning is the strongest availble upgrade for any 991.2 Porsche Carrera.

Our engineers have a deep understanding of the SDI21.2 engine managment system found in the 3.0l T Porsche 991.2 we have spent thousands of hours testing and developing to offer the best high performance remap solutions.

This substantial performance increase from only the installation of the bigger KO4 turbo chargers is made possible due to our GENOME Design Performance stage 3 ECU remap which has been developed from our own 991.2 GTS stage 1 remap.

The 991.2 stage 3 upgrade requires only the installation of the K04 turbos without the need for any further aftermarket modifications. Essentially turning your Carrera/ Carrera S into a 911 GTS with a stage 1 remap.

With this additional hardware we are able to flow more exhaust gas and keep charge temperatures under control. This allows us to increase ignition timing and boost pressure to achieve over 600bhp on this Porsche turbo kit.

This perfect blend of hardware has been selected and developed internally at GENOME Design on our own Porsche 911 Carrera S and our 991.2 GTS meaning we are able to run our own development program without the requirement of customer vehicles.
