Our bespoke remap calibrations and hardware configurations for the 2.5l turbocharged Porsche Cayman Boxster S and GTS have been fine-tuned in-house with high performance and reliability in mind.

With greatly improved horsepower and torque figures over stock, both our stage 1 & stage 2 718 Cayman S and GTS tuning are incredible upgrades for the Porsche 2.5l Turbo engine platform.

Utilising market-leading hardware coupled with our custom tuning solutions created in our bespoke built 2000whp hub dyno cell our engineers can ensure greater power and torque without reducing engine reliability.

Porsche 718 Cayman S | GTS Tuning Stage 1

Our stage 1 718 Cayman S and GTS tune is developed specifically to work with the OEM Porsche hardware. This tuning package requires no upgrades to the 718's hardware and is simply a retune of the SDI21 ECU control unit. (We also recommend a PDK remap where applicable)

Our Stage 1 remap for the 718 2.5l engine is calibrated to use a sensible increase in boost pressure and advance the base ignition timing along with many other changes to give a sensible increase over stock whilst retaining all the factory driving experience. In essence, the software gives an OEM+ feeling with masses of extra power and torque through the rev range.

As can be seen in the dyno graph below our Stage 1 Cayman and Boxster S/GTS tuning offers a drastic amount of extra torque and power. Upwards of 90Ib and 75WHP (please note the graph reads in WHP you can calculate drive train loss by adding 10-12% to the WHP figure)

We have achieved these incredible Power figures from our stage 1 remap for the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster S/GTS platform through months of meticulous testing of the SDI21 ECU. This ECU is widely used in the Porsche range of this era from 911 991 & 991.2 along with 2.0l and 2.5l Boxster Cayman. This means we have vast experience in how the control system works.

Porsche 718 Cayman S Tune Stage 2 Package

Our stage 2 Cayman Boxster S and GTS remap package offers that extra level for clients looking to increase performance and noise. Utilising hardware from leading manufacturers coupled with our Bespoke ECU tuning we can offer up to 460bhp and 420Ib. This package also offers a considerable increase in exhaust tone due to the use of a Milltek exhaust system coupled with a sports cat downpipe.

With better flow, we can further increase boost pressure and timing whilst not affecting the reliability of the engine and drive train. With fine-tuning of the fuel delivery, we can keep cylinder temperatures and EGT under control whilst maintaining fantastic power and torque. We can run the extra boost pressure without introducing any additional compressor surge and keep the temperature under control in the engine bay.

Porsche 718 PDK Tuning:

If you have a PDK optioned 718 we highly recommend tuning the PDK gearbox at the same time as engine tuning. This ensures that torque limiters in the gearbox are balanced to the ECU making more midrange torque. It improves clutch life by increasing clamping forces to avoid micro-slip. We also improve shift points and adjust temperature-based pressures.

Please note for Manual cars we have not seen any issues with stock clutches on either of the above packages with increased torque.

All the above tuning is the same for the Porsche 718 Boxster S and GTS platform. the 2.5l engine is shared across the 718 Boxster S/GTS and therefore allows the same tuning upgrades to be used.

Tuning your 718 Boxster S/GTS will produce the same results as above and all of the hardware will fit the same.

718 GTS And S Remap Optional Extras:
