Upgrade your Porsche 991.2 Carrera, 991.2 Carrera S, 991.2 Carrera GTS, 991.2 Carrera T with Inconel Race Cats (Heat Shielded) from JCR Developments. These high-performance catalytic converters are crafted from lightweight Inconel with integrated heat shielding, reducing weight while enhancing thermal efficiency and durability. Designed to improve exhaust flow, they deliver gains in power and a sharper, more aggressive exhaust note. A direct replacement for OEM components, this system ensures optimal performance both on the track and road. Workshop fitting is available at our Porsche facility in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Introduction
Due to strict regulation the factory exhaust system installed on any Porsche road vehicle is somewhat a comprimised piece. Porsche have engineered an exhaust system which will meet the requirements of each and every customer, from the every day driver to the most avid track day fan, whilst respecting emissions and noise regulations.
The JCR Exhaust line is modular in its construction, meaning that when combined with factory components our products allow for an impressive number of permutations.
Light Weight
Through the use of light weight materials and clever design we have managed to reduce the overall weight of the factory 991.2 Carrera exhaust components. Removing weight full stop carries great benefits in any performance vehicle however the gains are exaggerated on this platform, reducing the rear biased weight distribution helps to improve overall balance and handling.
Direct Replacement
All of the JCR 991.2 Carrera exhaust components are direct replacement for their OEM equivalents with guaranteed fit every time. No requirement for any further work during install beyond removing the OEM part and replacing with its JCR equivalent and any supplied hardware.
HJS 200 CEL Cat
The JCR Inconel Race Cats remove the restrictive factory cats and replaces them with a high flow HJS 200 Cel cat for each turbo. Flow is therefore greatly increased and improved performance comes as a result.
In certain instances it's still possible for a CEL to occur. This tends to be if the car has poor fuel quality in the tank or excess load is applied when the engine and exhaust system is not up to full operating temperature.
Heat Management
This product features the highest quality thermal protection as standard. The heat shielding we have selected is used in the very highest levels of Motorsport to control temperatures whilst protecting and dramatically reducing the effects of radiant heat into the surrounding areas.
Power Increase
Every component of the JCR Titanium Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve HP & TQ with varying results dependant on the combination of parts. Our most extreme free flowing system will see gains in the mid 30HP&TQ with the stock ECU tune. Also expect great improvements in overall engine response, transient throttle response and boost building earlier in the RPM range.
