Operation:

The new system is valved and contains a central muffler for when the valves are closed. When the valves are open, gases travel through the X pipe to let out that motorsport roar.

The valves are controlled using the existing Porsche system, and is dependent on driving mode and exhaust valve setting selected.

The operation of the valves is dependent on the driving mode and if the in-car exhaust valve button is selected.

- Valves closed - quiet sound is achieved for everyday cruising conditions

- Valves open - sound is louder for more spirited driving

General:

This system preserves the factory emission components, including the standard catalytic converters and GPF/OPF.

There is no requirement for ECU tune/ CEL light.

The exhaust is bolt on/bolt off fitment and is compatible with stock tips.

* Additionally, Helm holtz resonators can be installed, which help to minimise droning, as there is a noticeable increase in sound over stock levels while cruising, though this varies from person to person. Due to packaging constraints, these resonators can only be supplied with purchase of the Brooke Race Exhausts Over Axel Pipes
